§ 48-3. Dispersal.

The Washington Hunt Fund shall be disbursed only upon duly authorized orders upon the City Treasurer, signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. Such orders shall be drawn only after the presentation to and audit and allowance by the Common Council of bills for merchandise bought and used by recipients upon the authority of the aforesaid Committee. No account for goods or merchandise of any kind sold in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be audited or allowed by the Common Council unless it is certified to by a majority of said Committee.
