§ 55-13. Quarantine required.

  • Any animal must be quarantined under the care and observation of a licensed veterinarian for such time as is required to determine whether it is infected with rabies or other infectious diseases in the following cases:
    A. 
    When it has bitten any person.
    B. 
    When there is reason to believe the animal has bitten any person and there is also reason to believe it is or may be infected with rabies or other infectious or dangerous diseases.
