The title of this chapter is "An Ordinance Regulating
and Restricting the Height, Number of Stories and Size of Buildings,
the Size of Lots and of Yards, Courts and Other Open Spaces, the Density
of Population, and the Location and Use of Buildings and Land for
Trade, Industry, Residence or Other Purposes: Dividing the City of
Lockport Into Districts for Said Purposes; and Providing Penalties
for Violations of the Provisions of this Ordinance; so as to Promote
the Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare of the Community, Taking
Into Consideration, Among Other Things, the Suitability of Each District
for Particular Uses, the Conservation of Property Values and the Most
Appropriate Use of Land Throughout the City."
